All of the sails benefit from this standard specification and are supplied in screen printed branded sail bags.

Main sails -

Medium blue with contrasting white screen printing of stacked 'Sea Cadet' text in the clew of the sail and “S” logo at the head of the sail. Note: to one side only.

Reefing points included for slab reefing on all applicable main sails.

Battens included

Loop and hook stowage on clew of Topper, Pico and all uno rigs.

Constructed from hard wearing Dacron sail cloth

Jibs -

White jib with contrasting screen printed logo. Note: to one side only.

Constructed from hard wearing Dacron sail cloth.

Note: The sails are manufactured abroad and will take several weeks to deliver (a minimum of 12 weeks). They cannot be collected from SCC Stores.

It is possible to add your unit name to your purchased sail. Each letter is approximately 9 inches high and dark blue in colour

Lettering can only be added to one side of the sail and in one of the locations below:

The luff of the head sail (leading angle of front sail) or
Foot for single hander sails (horizontal to the bottom of the sail).

Price per letter is £1.50

Price is by the number of letters added, noting each sail has a limited area for adding text and is dependent upon the selected sail. Additional letters such as SCC should be avoided.

Note - It may not be possible to add lettering to all sails in which case you will be contacted.
